Dr. Zhang is a board-certified optometrist. She earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University and went on to receive her Optometry Doctorate and Masters Degree in Public Health from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Worcester, MA.

Dr. Zhang furthered her clinical training in ocular disease by completing a residency at The Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury, MA. While at The Dimock Center she gained further expertise in subspecialties of low vision, pediatrics and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Zhang loves connecting with her patients and helping them see their best. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors and going on food adventures!

Dr. Matthew Doyle, OD is a Optometrist in Warwick, RI and has over 11 years of experience in the healthcare field. He graduated from NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY in 2011. He is affiliated with Kent Hospital. His office accepts new patients.

Please meet one of the excellent doctors on our team:

Dr. Matthew Doyle’s career began at the University of New England in Biddeford, ME graduating with a B.S. in Medical Biology. He then went on to graduate with his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. While in training he completed rotations in primary care and ocular disease training at multiple locations between RI and MA.

Dr. Doyle is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, and licensed in the state of Rhode Island in ocular therapeutics and treatment of glaucoma. He treats primary care optometry including diabetes as well as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal conditions, and many ocular emergencies. He also provides multiple vision correction options including standard and specialty contact lens fits, scleral lenses, and pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgeries.

Dr. Doyle has been practicing in Providence since 2012 after starting his career in southern Maine, and as of 2022 is expanding care to the Warwick, RI community. Needing glasses in his early elementary years, Dr. Doyle first became interested in optometry at a very young age. Knowing what it is like to not be able to see without glasses and contacts Dr. Doyle has an eager compassion and empathy for his patients. Being able to provide an immediate positive impact on his patients quality of life is a daily reward. When he is not in the office he enjoys reading, exercising, gardening, many outdoor sports, and spending time with his family.
