🎄🛏️ Christmas Pajama Day Fun! 🛏️🎄

Friday was Christmas Pajama Day, and it was all about cozy vibes and holiday cheer! ✨Residents relaxed in their PJs while enjoying a Christmas movie and warm hot cocoa ☕🎬

Meanwhile, staff enjoyed a festive Hot Cocoa Bar with all the fixings — marshmallows included! 😄🍫

We're really feeling the Christmas spirit here at West Shore! Our team and residents shared some holiday spirit this week over gingerbread cookies. Yum! Our residents painted their own gingerbread people, too!

On day 4 of Spirit Week, we "socked it to Christmas"! It was Silly Sock Day, along with Deck The Halls judgement day!

Our team did an amazing job of decking the halls. Each hall was unique, and all equally amazing. Check out the photos to see each of the halls fully decked out!

Second floor south took home the win for "Best Unit." Not only were their decorations amazing, but they also had the Grinch and residents dancing to Grinch music with Christmas swag.

1 South came in second place, and the Kitchen came in third place.

We loved watching the team work hard together to create Christmas spirit for our residents. The team and residents were given scratch tickets today to win stocking stuffer prizes.

Day 3 of Christmas Spirit week was Ugly Christmas Sweater Day.

The day brought horse drawn carriage rides complimentary of Health Concepts and Nursing Placement! The residents had a blast and have not stopped talking about. Some staff were also able to hop on a few rides to enjoy with residents. We baked fresh chocolate chip cookies for residents and staff after the carriage rides. Residents "made" their own Ugly Christmas Sweaters while others enjoy Kalifornia Karl singing Christmas music. Some lucky staff won some raffle prizes throughout the day. Staff are busy decorating the hallways for our staff decorating contest on Thursday.

IT'S TIME TO VOTE!!

Our Staff Gingerbread house contest has blown us away! Staff replicated their beach front homes in Ecuador, Wizard of Oz scene and Chicken coop just to name a few. The detail is amazing!

This is where Facebook comes into play. VOTE for your FAVORITE one by liking the picture.

The Facebook likes will count as votes along with the residents' votes to see who wins the top prize. Voting will end tomorrow Dec 19th at 8am, and the winner will be announced.

Day 2 of Christmas Spirit week was so much fun! Yesterday, residents "shoveled snow" to see who could fill their buckets fastest.

Staff participated in the "Unwrap it" game for stocking stuffer prizes.

The elves were jingling through the hallways with snacks. Staff won "snackle" boxes filled with candy.
