🥔🔥 Cooking With Your Chiropractor — Sweet Chili Sweet Potatoes 🔥🥔

Quick. Flavor-packed. Crowd-pleasing. These smoky, sweet, and slightly spicy sweet potatoes are the perfect healthy side dish — and they come together fast for an easy weeknight win 🙌

From Healthy in a Hurry by Danielle Walker, this one is simple, nourishing, and loaded with flavor!

✨ Ingredients:
• 3 lbs sweet potatoes, unpeeled and halved lengthwise
• 1/4 cup melted ghee or avocado oil
• 2 tbsp pure maple syrup or honey
• 1 tsp fine sea salt
• 1/2 tsp ground coriander
• 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
• 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
• 1/4 tsp chili powder
• 1/4 cup raw pepitas
• 1/4 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro
• Juice of 1 lime

👨‍🍳 Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 450°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Place sweet potatoes on the pan. Drizzle with ghee, 1 tbsp maple syrup, salt, coriander, cayenne, paprika, and chili powder. Toss to coat.
3️⃣ Turn potatoes cut side down and roast 20–25 minutes until tender and browned.
4️⃣ While roasting, toast pepitas in a dry skillet over medium-high heat for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently until golden.
5️⃣ Arrange sweet potatoes on a platter and top with pepitas, cilantro, lime juice, and the remaining 1 tbsp maple syrup.
6️⃣ Serve immediately and enjoy! 😋

💡 Pro tip: Parboil the potatoes beforehand if you want them extra crispy!

🍳🌿 20-Minute Skillet Sausage & Zucchini 🌿🍳
Quick, healthy, and packed with flavor—this is the perfect busy-day dinner!

🥘 Ingredients:
✔️ 2½ tbsp olive or avocado oil
✔️ 4 fully cooked sausages, sliced
✔️ 2 medium zucchini, cubed
✔️ 1 onion, diced
✔️ 1 bell pepper, chopped
✔️ ½ tsp salt
✔️ ½ tsp dried oregano
✔️ ½ tsp dried basil
✔️ ¼ tsp garlic powder
✔️ ¼ tsp onion powder
✔️ ¼ tsp pepper
✔️ 1 tsp garlic, minced
✔️ Fresh basil (optional)

👨‍🍳 Directions:
1️⃣ Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and sauté 1–2 minutes until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Lower heat to medium. Add remaining oil, zucchini, onion, and bell pepper. Sprinkle with seasonings. Cook 5–10 minutes until veggies are tender.
3️⃣ Add sausage and minced garlic back in. Stir and heat through for 1–2 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
