This month, we are hitting a triple milestone! We want to take a moment to recognize three key members of our leadership team who reached their 10th anniversary with the Trudeau Center this April:

🌟 Charlotte Higham (VP of Adult Services) – 10 Years on 4/4
🌟 Diane Varieur (Director of Adult Clinical Services) – 10 Years on 4/11
🌟 Joe Cotrone (Director of Facilities) – 10 Years on 4/18

Their combined 30 years of experience at Trudeau have been instrumental in our growth and the quality of care we provide. Thank you all for your loyalty and for everything you do for the Trudeau community! ✨

Cooking up something special! 🍳 Students from Room 5 at Pathways recently visited the Warwick Public Library to use the Charlie Cart – a fully equipped mobile kitchen – and prepared an incredible breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage. It was a fantastic hands-on opportunity to build cooking skills, explore healthy food choices, and have a great time doing it. We love experiences like this! πŸ§‘β€πŸ³

"The sky's the limit!" 🌟 That's the motto Sherry Phillips lives by – and after 33 years as an Early Intervention Educator and Service Coordinator at Trudeau, she's helped countless children and families discover just how true that is. πŸ’™

From leading music groups at the Pilgrim Senior Center 🎡 to teaching water safety at the community pool 🏊, Sherry brings creativity and heart to every family she serves. She also has a deeply personal connection to the work: two of her own children came through Early Intervention, and today one works in Trudeau's ABA program. πŸ‘ That's the kind of full-circle story that says everything about what this work means. ✨

We're proud to have Sherry on our team and grateful every day for the dedication she brings to the children and families of Rhode Island. πŸ’™ Read more about what makes Sherry special in the comments.

A huge thank you to the Bailey's Team for Autism Foundation for their generous grant, which helped us bring an adaptive bike to our students at Pathways in Warwick! 🚲

In just a short time, students are building endurance, staying more regulated, and gaining access to an activity they may not have experienced before. We're so grateful for this meaningful support! πŸ™ Learn more about the Bailey Foundation below, link in comments!

🌷 Spring joy was in full swing at Trudeau's annual Egg Hunt! Hosted by Raymour & Flanagan, who also presented Children's Services with a generous $1,000 donation, our families enjoyed egg hunting, crafts, a photo booth, and plenty of pizza thanks to Frank Pepe's, Papa Gino's, Piezoni's, Pier Pizza on Post Road, and BJ's Brewhouse. Raffle prizes were generously donated by Aireloom, Tempur, Early Intervention, the ABA Program, and Pathways. Big thanks to Heather Petrarca and Shannon McCormack for organizing such a memorable celebration. Happy Easter! πŸ’™πŸ°πŸ£
