Meet Mary “Mollie” McGinn, one of the earliest visiting nurses to serve our community.
Starting her career in 1912, Mollie dedicated 48 years to caring for patients in East Greenwich through what’s now the VNA of Care New England.
From making home visits to providing medical supplies and comfort to local families, Mollie embodied the heart of home care. Her commitment helped shape the compassionate care that still defines the VNA today.
As we celebrate Care at Home Month, we’re proud to remember pioneers like Mollie, whose devotion continues to inspire the work we do every day.
