“For me this is life changing. I was headed in a v bad direction. I didn’t think I would ever have been able to lose. I’d lose a couple lbs (& then gain it back). But the energy! I’ve never been able to feel this! I just wished I knew before. (It would’ve been completely different when raising small children = THREE).

How are things since the Holidays?

Loved getting to speak on AUTOMATIC Intelligence that the body holds when it’s burning one fuel over another (ahem, fat!) today in the Gloss Loft.

This seemed to be a well timed topic for getting better situated MORE EASILY for weight loss/health in the New Year. 💪🏽

Thoroughly enjoyed getting to share my knowledge while spending time w this group of lovely ladies.

And I brag making a point to dress in a way that was EXCITING & elevating for ME for this presentation (even if I was only visible from the shoulders up).

Adore this environment & group & how warm & welcoming each meeting is.

We rocked the house w this yesterday in the Gloss Loft & I’m excited to do it again TONIGHT!

HAPPY (almost) NEW YEAR!! 🎊

Wanted to wish everyone a happy celebration this eve if you are indeed making a point to usher in the New Year w a bang.

I listened to a great talk last night about success & point #1 was SHOWING UP.

I took that to mean simply being present, but what the speaker actually meant was being ALL IN.

GOING FOR IT.

Showing up as the brightest, most authentic, fully expressed, fully engaged version of you.

NYE has historically been a non event for me. I would often stay home & go to bed early to do the Polar Plunge (I brag) EVERY New Year’s Day for over 20 years. 🤪🙌

Now that I’ve worked that out of my system 😂 I still love New Year’s Day more, BUT a party is a party…

The soirée I’m going to tonight will still be low key but this AM as I was sort of seeing how LITTLE I could do (wear, bring, leave early?…😬)

I thought about SHOWING UP instead!

How could I GO FOR IT tonight vs tone s**t down?

The truth is we can make ANYTHING SO FUN!

And if we actually have the OPPORTUNITY to celebrate w others - why NOT aim to make it more delightful?!

And though I’m still not interested in drinking alcohol or staying up late 🙃, this encouragement has made me think twice about dressing up, arriving ON TIME (vs being fashionably late 🙈), baking something delicious to share, getting excited about who I might see, & the fact that there will more than likely be DANCING & KARAOKE. 💃🏼💃🏻💃🏽🎤

Doing less can often feel more safe & familiar but doing YOU/your experience FULLY is endlessly more fun.

I hope everyone says YES to what’s in store vs nevermind & rings in 2026 in a way that feels lit up, fun & free!

SLOW vs STOP

This is such a great concept if you find yourself having all or nothing thinking around exercise.

This AM I saw myself slightly resist getting up & going to the gym.

I totally took note of how I had a headache (I never have headaches) & slowly saw myself internally adjust & start using this thinking.

Today was a day where I would lift heavy for my calves, do a little thigh finisher on machines, a short HIIT on the stairclimber & walk after. 🤪

I did NOT feel like doing anything that felt hard or where I was going to expect myself to exert myself.

Blah.

So instead of saying SCREW THIS, I negotiated w myself.

Maybe I’ll lift lighter, more reps & reduce the sets. (Maybe.)

Maybe I won’t do the HIIT & I’ll walk on the stairclimber instead.

Maybe I’ll just see how I feel when I get there.

YES! That always.

I typically have a plan for exercise (even if it’s just walking = yesterday).

But if I’m feeling off, or less inclined to do ___, I negotiate w myself & see what’s actually true for me.

I did lift her my calves, as I typically would in a way that was challenging. I realized I totally forgot to do the thigh finisher stuff 😂 (oh well, I’ll do it tomorrow). I actually did do the HIIT on the stairclimber, & walked after as well!

So nearly ALL that I would’ve done!

Getting GOING is often the hardest part for anybody. It’s so easy to look at something that seems like it’s going to be challenging and simply not want to do it.

But to push it ALL off means NOTHING happens.

And if we’re clear that CONSISTENCY WINS for whatever you’re trying to create

you must keep at the thing that you wish to use to build what you want.

So ADJUST, don’t ABANDON your plan.

B/c when you make a point to meet yourself where you are (which often adjusts when you get going) you’ll never stop your progress. 🙌
