HOW I EAT IN A DAY: PART #1

A type of post that goes up my ass a mile is the,

“What I Eat in a Day”,

variety.

It is beyond useless.

And it’s often potentially confusing and even detrimental to the observer.

The connotation is that you should emulate that person‘s diet to be/do/have what they encompass.

And while there might be some reality to that, it’s so inappropriate as you are not them. 🤪

You are probably not at the same starting point.

Your activity level more than likely might vary greatly.

Your age & stage in life could be radically different.

And your goals will assumedly be very different based on them being aspirational (which is why you’re following them in the first place) and you being a current work in progress. 💪🏽

USELESS & MISLEADING. 🤪

The 2 things posts like that serve a purpose for are:

1. Curiosity.

2. Culinary inspiration.

And that’s about it. (Comments)

MY SCALE STANCE

This, “Diet Tip”, is hilarious 😂 AND I kind of agree w it.

It coincides w my feelings about the scale.

Don’t get on it unless you’re either:

A) certain of what you’ll see

B ) you’re mostly curious (& indifferent) about what you’ll see

If everything is cool in the land of Your Waistline = GREAT.

If you’re giving less of a s**t about how many Hanukkah Donuts 🍩 or Christmas Cookies you’ve had = GREAT!

We don’t CHANGE TACTICS until we GIVE A S**T.

And we certainly don’t ASSESS until we’re CERTAIN we’re starting to create some traction.

The ego & our self esteem can be v fragile things, so don’t stress yourself out unnecessarily.

I personally ONLY get on the scale if I’m:

A) certain of what I’ll see

B ) mostly curious/indifferent to what I’ll see

I encourage my Fat Burners to use the scale to get a STARTING POINT, & then to assess WEEKLY.

More often can be great if desired if they’re:

A) certain of what they’ll see

They’re AIMING to lose weight so they DEFINITELY give a F about what # is going to be looking back @ them.

So this holiday season, if all is good, all is good… (comments)

BEFORE: hungry, underfed, not losing.
NOW: not hungry, EATING LESS, feeling fed, losing quickly.

This is what happens when the body is finally able to use its own fat for energy.

M wasn’t failing before, her (MD suggested) diet was failing her.

She had simply yet to be given the tools to undergo a MITOCHONDRIAL RECONSTRUCTION.

Once her body got set up to use its own fat for fuel, losing weight stopped being a fight.

If you’ve tried eating less, eating less carbs, or even eating less often and still feel more hungry with nothing to show for it… this is your sign.

TURNING WHITE FAT BROWN

If you’ve been made aware of this seemingly magical substance that HELPS US LOSE WEIGHT, this will be a great post for you.



White Fat is the jiggly, pinchable flesh that lives just below our skin in our adipose layer.



Brown fat is located more deeply in our body and tends to be relegated to areas in our upper thorax (chest, upper back, and the back of our neck).



Many of us have tried to ACTIVATE this substance because of it’s Fat Burning abilities.

Weight loss is often a high stakes affair.

We feel SO charged about how we look or how we want to feel that sometimes we either DON’T enter the playing field

OR when we do we feel SO easily unglued. 🙋🏼‍♀️

It SUCKS to work hard & to not get instant payoff.

Or data reflecting your progress when you expect it. 😣

What DOES help you to not feel like a MANIAC when aiming to create change w your waistline?

GOOD PROBLEMS

Recently we had a group discussion about the, “TOO BIGS”.

When you’re swimming in your now, TOO BIG, clothes, only to still be moving PAST sizes

making investing in ANOTHER (?) new wardrobe feel a bit irritating & COSTLY.

(We got some good intel HERE 🙏 & in our group for where to turn & what to do. 🙌)

Hitting a moving target is HARD.

Having a waistline that’s shrinking steadily & comfortably is EASY.

Trying to lose weight by ignoring your hunger & eating based on calories is HARD.

Eating less food in general b/c you’re simply not hungry is EASY.

EASY makes things possible.

We like EASY.

And new clothes. 😍

THANKSGIVING FASHION. Not to take away from family or food but… wished for this # to get a permanent place in IG world as well. I’ve had this dress for YEARS. I seldom wear it, but it’s always a bit of a show stopper when I do. This year it felt LOOSE below the belt?? I have no idea. Must assess other dresses to get a true read of body morphing. AnyWho! Hope everyone wore garments for the holiday that made them feel sexy & fabulous! Love to all!
