BOOST BEGINS: 3/15 - 4/4

Excited for our latest round of the BOOST to be commencing today!

This is a three week program for established Fat Burners to either learn or practice the skill of slightly extended fasting.

Essentially, we fast for 36 to 48 hours cyclically over these three weeks.

We have a structure, use tools, and get clear on how we feel and what those signals might indicate that we need.

My greatest wishes for every Fat Burner is to learn this skill because it is such a useful technique to use at will when you want to amplify your results or offset mumbo-jumbo that you’d rather not have make an impact.



(It helped me to LOSE weight around my birthday when eating big meals & CAKE multiple days in a row.)

The most exciting thing is, we are all meant to do this.

FOOD = TOOL

I wanted to share this story of a lovely Fat Burner in her third week who wasn’t utilizing one of our tools (Bulletproof Coffee) as well as it could be.

When she shared how it was feeling challenging to get to a slightly later point in the day for her first meal I was confused.

At the three week mark a Fat Burner is basically experiencing 80% of the benefit of what this metabolic mode offers. She was clearly here so hunger should be less of an issue & eating twice a day should be no big thing.

I examined what was happening a bit more fully (as HOW is often more/as consequential than WHAT) & recognized that she simply wasn’t using her coffee for all it could offer.

So we changed that, & presto!

Less hunger, more comfort through the day, & greater ease w doing what was intended (eating twice).

When you’re situated to use dietary fat better, like in this example, & understand what the properties of the substances your consuming can actually do for you - it’s easier to use items more wisely & get more bang for your buck in your efforts.

I’m all for working smarter not harder, & thankfully weight loss (& health) via Fat Burning offers this in spades.

The JOY of JEANS

One thing I THRILL in is when Fat Burners hit new personal realities.

Sometimes it’s a lower size, or getting back into garments from yesteryear that they LOVE, or sometimes getting into particular styles or types of clothes.

JEANS.

I know when weight is up for many STRETCHY & SOFT items are what feel best.

And the more rigid stuff is NOT.

I adore this lovely lady’s sense of delight, freedom, FUN w not only wearing jeans.

But getting smaller sized jeans.

WANTING to wear jeans!

Being COMFORTABLE in jeans again!

When M & I had our initial conversation about working together, she was in disbelief about weight loss being possible for her.

She had tried EVERYTHING, & it wasn’t for being disciplined & diligent that her past approaches didn’t work.

But NOW…

As a SOLID Fat Burner who’s lost 36.3 lbs in 17 weeks her body is DIFFERENT.

Her tummy is so much FLATTER! She’s carrying less weight across her chest & shoulders. She looks YOUNGER! And she’s now losing is slow to go places (legs & hips). (Comments)

AM PROTEIN PANIC

Please excuse the irritation in my voice.

I get so frustrated when there’s yet another alarm bell sounded for women over 40.

The thing that stinks about blanket instructions for general populations is that it’s not always appropriate for all (or sometimes even most).

I also have such a problem with expected compliance with messages like this as they often cause a sense of urgency, anxiety, and disorientation.

Eating 30g of protein soon after waking may or may not be appropriate for you.

And it’s definitely not a necessity if you are already:

- consuming at least 100 g of protein a day (as a woman)

- doing resistance training that addresses your whole body at least twice a week

- making sure to consume 20 g or more of protein at a sitting

BUT if you’ve tried this & found it helps you to:

- have more stable energy through the day

- have less cravings through the day

- side step late night hunger

Then this could be a great move!
