On April 18, Spaulding Outpatient Rehabilitation of Care New England joined the Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island’s Wellness Walk & Community Event at Bryant University.

Our East Greenwich outpatient team provided resources to community members who have been impacted by brain injuries and made meaningful connections with other supportive organizations. Events like this help strengthen awareness and access to care across our community.

What started as speech therapy practice turned into something much bigger.

After his stroke, Rich McMahon worked on rebuilding his speech at our East Greenwich clinic, even practicing his Dunkin’ order again and again. That determination paid off in more ways than one. Dunkin' surprised him with a year of free coffee, celebrating just how far he’s come.

Stories like Rich’s show what recovery really looks like. It takes time, repetition, and a lot of resilience. We’re proud to be part of that journey and grateful to see moments like this recognized in such a meaningful way:

What a great day at our 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs, hosted by the Spaulding Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers at Kent Hospital.

Families joined us for an afternoon of games, egg hunts, and time together, with visits from the Easter Bunny and fairytale princesses.
