Harland is one of my favorite little comedians. While he may try to act grumpy when it's time to work - it never lasts long before his big, contagious smile sneaks through. His humor keeps everyone laughing, his determination helps him tackle every challenge, and his clever negotiation tactics will no doubt help take him places. Piper has been a wonderful kid to work with. She brings a lot of fun and imagination to our speech activities, always making sure to keep things lively and engaging. Piper is also very focused and committed to improving her speech. She’s not afraid to keep practicing, even if it takes a few tries. In feeding therapy, comfort comes before bites! We cannot stress enough the importance of exploring food with our hands, eyes, and even our noses to help build trust and confidence for those with feeding aversions. Play is not “messy eating” it’s a powerful step toward stress free mealtimes. Happy playing 🍴🥒🧀
