Ever wake up to your alarm in the morning, and desperately want to hit snooze? 😴
Your body hurts, you feel the lack of movement settle into your bones and this deep dread of having to fulfill the day’s obligations hits that one brain receptor just right… and you start scanning all the ways to get out of your to-do’s!
That GIVE UP feeling… just for one day! 😩
I get that too!
Ya know what, that’s when I double down!
I start with some small movement and stretching in bed - work some of the kinks out from the day before.
Then I silently thank the universe for another beautiful day. I use a technique to trick my mind into gratitude and amplify my mind’s search for the good things to come.
💫”Isn’t it going to be nice to go downstairs and get a cup of coffee?”
💫”Isn’t it going to be nice to take my dog for a walk in the ever changing outdoors?”
💫”Isn’t it going to be nice to eat nourishing food today?”
