Whoops…I posted our event on the wrong date but don’t worry, you can still catch us on Saturday December 20th at Bentonville Indoor Farmers Market or catch us online at the link in the bio. We will ship orders out this week before the 20th then we will be heading out of town for Christmas.

12/08/2025

Please be patient with your orders that are being shipped. This is the time where the USPS, Fed Ex and UPS are working around the clock to get as many packages as they can delivered in a timely manner. Sometimes packages going to the next town over will be sent to Iowa instead of staying in the state of Missouri. 🫣 Please let me know if you are having issues finding your tracking number for your order and I will help locate where the last check in was. Know that we ship all orders as soon as possible and within 1-2 business days of receiving your order.

Our Story

Kathy and Rick Henning moved to southwest Missouri from northeast Pennsylvania in 2013. After finding themselves on five acres in Washburn, they began to grow even more interested in the idea of sustainable living. While they enjoyed planting and harvesting their small vegetable garden, they began to wonder what more they could do with their land. One day while scrolling through Pinterest, Kathy began to learn about the process of growing lavender and making lavender beauty products. The idea continued to grow in Kathy's mind and seemingly just felt right from the beginning. However, in late 2017, Kathy began to experience a series of medical episodes. At first, it was simply an inability to communicate that would last from a few minutes to a few hours. They began to grow worse and worse until she was hospitalized two weeks before Christmas 2017. The episodes continued to get worse and included symptoms similar to a stroke, heart attack, seizures, or some combination of all three. After a week in the hospital, she was diagnosed with conversion disorder. This disorder is typically caused by a significant level of psychological trauma and stress. While the disorder is psychological, the episodes are incredibly physical. Through weeks of conversation, prayer, and discovery, Kathy began to realize that she was not living holistically or true to herself. Kathy and Rick began to make deep lifestyle changes which has fostered holistic living for both of them. Kathy still continues to experience these episodes, but refuses to let this disorder end her active lifestyle. Kathy's story has become the foundation for the farm and her family. Kathy and Rick have become deeply passionate about sharing a message of love and living a holistic life. They believe in finding joy in the simple things of a campfire at night or a picnic on the farm. The farm has become a place of sanctuary to rediscover oneself and reprioritize what is most important. The farm is the place where you can come to check your stress at the door and simply enjoy the company of family and friends gathered around good food and drink surrounded by the beauty of nature. They look forward to opening the farm to the public to share this special place with all of you in the near future. Kathy and Rick enjoy the company of their Great Dane farm dog, Sir Coleman Vagabond (Cole), and have a son, Brian, who lives in Minnesota. Follow our blog for the rest of the story...
