I have been asked several good questions about my beginner series, and I wanted to share the answers here so more people can benefit! Feel free to ask more questions if you’re interested! And sign up at before our first session on Jan. 10.
Who is the series geared toward? Any yogi who wants to learn and deepen their practice! I have found that returning to beginner classes from time to time helps me continue learning and hone my practice. Each instructor brings something new, so even “advanced” yogis learn in a beginner’s class. Not to mention, we are encouraged to approach the practice with a beginner’s mindset each time we step onto the mat.
What is the pace of the class like? We go slowly so we can break down each pose, give participants a chance to ask questions, and let me offer adjustments. This really allows folks to feel and understand the shape.
What kinds of classes will this prepare me for at the studio? Any! You will be familiar with many foundational poses you may encounter in any asana class. I hope that you build the confidence to try new classes and explore your practice further after participating.

We are so excited to announce a beginner series with Simone. They are 90-minute classes intentionally built upon one another.

Are you new to yoga? Have you been practicing for a while but need a refresher on the basics? If you answered yes to either question, this series is for you! Throughout this six-week course, you will learn how to move safely into various asanas (poses) and how to modify postures and use props to bring you more ease into your practice. This back-to-basics series will give you the confidence to try any class!
Week 1: Introduction to Asana and Pranayama
Week 2: Grounding and Standing Balance
Week 3: Hip Opening and Twists
Week 4: Backbends and Forward Folds
Week 5: Building Arm Support
Week 6: Brining It All Together

You can sign up on your website or through the app! Each class will be a workshop or you can buy the entire package for each class and save!!
