Tapping 1️⃣0️⃣1️⃣ for Nervous System regulation

Is your stress feeling more intense that you need a stronger method to regroup? Sick of feeling subconscious nervous tension thwarting efforts to live well and ready to eliminate it? Ready to learn something profound about yourself?

I have been using tapping and recommending it so much to my patients these days. I am doing it more and more as a way to crack open somatic belief systems. I love this method for how it creates deeper critical new awareness with the willingness to see things differently. Each round we do helps to fully eradicate stress and reprogram resilience.

1️⃣ Start emotional feeling statement with “Even though…” clutter clearing any and all negative emotions bubbling up in that moment (fears, worries, anxieties, pain)
2️⃣Tap 5-7 different areas of the head, face, neck, front of shoulders, chest and armpit area, alternating sides of the body left and right with your fingertips.
3️⃣Begin to include “I fully (deeply) (completely) love and accept myself in this moment,” at the end of a round
4️⃣At the end of the round (or until I begin to feel better, e.g. breath, chest, eyes, stomach begin to relax) include the statement, “I am willing to see this differently” while tapping the points
5️⃣Keep going and include further embellishing of these statements, knowing I am fully loved, accepted and supported in this moment. What is meant for me can’t miss me. I am a total badass and I deserve good things. I can’t f this up. What is meant for me is already here.” Keep tapping with these new feelings and affirmations. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

I do this in moments of contraction more and more these days. Try it out and let me know if this is something that works for you!

Get excited about your first acupuncture treatment!!! Oh krrrr

This is a health experience to meet the medical needs of chronic and acute symptoms, pain, infertility and illness. These methods lengthen life, prolong organ, musculoskeletal health and draw from deeper wellsprings of the body’s energy and not just a pill or surgery.

Also did I mention it enhances all aspects of mood and well being for a fully hormonal (and spiritual?) inner reboot? One you don’t need to work for to achieve- it is given.

In treatments, I can explain my strategies and why I’m doing things in a helpful and reassuring way. We stick to the main objectives and no procedure or poke is without your OK.

The other cool thing is we do different treatments every time! Certain points are honed but each treatment is a new experience and a new way to get into the body, understand, and heal.

I love receiving testimonials like this - will not be the first nor the last like this very thing for folks.

Often my practice comprises two to three specialties for people. One session of acupuncture does double what it costs in time and energy visiting other specialists for the same chronic problem or issue. This is a health and wellness hack you can find at this practice.

Turns out there is an easier way. Less is more. Which means more time saved for the patient, exponential results, and faster recovery- and the best part is it’s completely natural.

My passion is to empower people to understand how to transform their health concerns with less pain, effort and time so they can live into their highest potential.

Only drinking plain water is NOT the best way to hydrate.

Our body needs electrolytes to hydrate appropriately so that fluid stays in the body and isn’t just peed out in the urine.

Stress! It affects our blood sugar metabolism, and with a dropping blood sugar is a dropping mood.

Emotionally becoming dynamic & resilient with our goals is something we can control!

Tips:

1. Have a hearty savory breakfast on packed or stressful days. If savory is too much to stomach, some vegetable-heavy smoothies for lots of fiber with a serving of Shaklee protein powder for blood sugar balance. Dry, warm grains with berries/fruit as a base to fuel the brain. (The brain needs grains!)
2. Plan to have a mid-morning and/or mid-afternoon snack
3. Notice how caffeine affects our mood, blood sugar and/or how much sleep we have had before we judge ourselves around stress.

I love Glucose Goddess’ work with her blood sugar meter because it so clearly delineates how much stress can burn up our capacities to regulate and perform.

It’s important to take stock of how we feel!

As women we can take it on as our problem when really it’s a reaction from our wonderfully complex, supportive and life-giving hormonal body. We are blood-bound and need more calories especially around our cycle. Cortisol levels shift depending where we are on our cycle as well, and is super important to track in perimenopause and menopause.
