It’s normal to think you’re faking whatever is going on with you…
✨ thanks society ✨
pro tip: if it still happens when you’re alone you’re not attention seeking or being dramatic.

Things have been so different since I was in that accident, and I have always had a lot of severe medical problems. That’s WHY I founded balance & birch. I was so tired of providers not listening, having conflicting advice, and never telling me structured details on HOW to optimize my health and longevity. I promised my grandma on her death bed I’d live to 112, and I fully intend to keep that promise and be HAPPY along the way! To do that I have to think preventatively rather than reactionary, and that’s why I chose the specific providers that work for me. It’s a perfect blend of mind, body, and spirit while still allowing your MDs to do what they actually do best. Since changing my mindset around healthcare I’ve been the healthiest I’ve ever been, and I’m so excited to see how much I continue to progress in the next 6 months! Make sure to follow along so my vulnerability on social media doesn’t go without worth 😂😅

We’re often asked why we don’t take insurance.

The short answer is that it allows us to practice in a way that’s more sustainable, ethical, and flexible.

It means better work–life balance for clinicians, which reduces burnout and turnover.
It gives us the ability to offer pro bono care when it’s needed.
It allows for packages and flexible structures instead of rigid session limits.
And it makes it easier for clients to work with multiple providers who actually coordinate care.

Insurance works for some models.
This one works better for ours.

The goal is not to exclude people.
It’s to protect the quality, consistency, and humanity of the care.

Iesha is back and reopening her books for somatic yoga!

This isn’t power yoga.
It’s trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming movement designed to help your nervous system feel safe enough to participate.

No pushing. No “mind over matter.”
Just movement that meets you where you are.
