Abrams Assisted Living offers fifty-four (54) studio apartments for seniors age 62+ who need assistance with daily care in the District of Columbia.

Opening Summer 2022! Abrams Assisted Living is designed to serve residents of the District of Columbia age 62+ who need assistance with daily care and qualify for each of the following:

✔️ Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH): Eligibility Criteria for PSH are determined by the Department of Human Services (DHS).

✔️ Low-Income Housing Tax Credit / Property Eligibility:
Potential residents must be income-eligible and 62 years of age or older.

✔️ EPD Waiver Eligibility: Potential residents must qualify for and be accepted to the Elderly and Individuals with Physical Disabilities (EPD) Medicaid Waiver Program through the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF).

✔️ Assisted Living Residence Eligibility: Potential residents must qualify for assisted living level of care, which typically means needing assistance with 3 or more activities of daily living (ADLs).

Located in Upper Northwest DC at The Parks at Walter Reed, overlooking the historic Great Lawn. Our convenient location offers easy access to shopping, dining, medical services, public transportation, and recreation. Residents can enjoy both a convenient urban location, and over 20 acres of open space.
