Our apothecary includes aromatherapy body products, candles, crystals, handmade soaps and more. Check out our workshops on topics including herbal tea blending, healthy chocolate making, aromatherapy blending, and more. Book an infrared sauna session after a relaxing, therapeutic massage and lounge in our peaceful waiting area with a hot cup of tea. Our caring wellness practitioners are ready 7 days a week.

Join us Friday, March 27th for a heart-opening evening of connection, restoration, and healing in honor of International Women’s Month and the renewal of the spring season. ✨

We’ll begin with a ritual cacao drink from and a brief introduction to its history as a plant medicine used to open the heart and deepen awareness, followed by intention setting to ground your experience. ☕️

You’ll then be guided into an immersive sound bath with crystal singing bowls while one of our reiki practitioners offers healing to support energetic balance and nervous system regulation.
This combination of vibration and energy work helps release tension and invite a deeply restorative state.

Our Story

Georgetown Massage and Bodywork is a DC local, woman-owned boutique wellness spa providing quality bodywork and wellness services by highly trained and licensed professionals. Founded by massage therapist and aromatherapist Alison Alleva and well established since 2004, we offer wellness services including therapeutic massage and bodywork, Thai yoga massage, herbal and ayurvedic wellness consultations, workshops, infrared light treatments and chromotherapy.

Our retail shop includes wellness products including over 50 types of essential oils, clean burning soy candles, in-house made aromatherapy body products, CBD topicals for pain relief, natural soaps, crystals, succulents, massage tools and more.
