Introducing: WOMEN at Georgetown Psychology...

Dr. Zimmitti created this program to better support women navigating the evolving stages of life, where shifting roles, hormonal changes, and mental health intersect in ways that are too often overlooked.

So many women experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, burnout, and symptoms like brain fog, disrupted sleep, and mood changes, without fully understanding why. WOMEN is here to change that.

This program offers:
✨ Therapy & coaching across all life stages
✨ Specialized assessments designed to uncover what’s often missed
✨ Expert-led events with real, actionable tools

Most importantly, it’s a space where women can feel seen, understood, and supported.

Because the right care starts with understanding.

To schedule a Walk & Talk or virtual consultation with Dr. Zimmitti, or to meet with one of our clinicians, please contact Sarah, our Director of Client Services, at sarah@georgetownpsychology.com | 202.333.6251

"Do you feel like a single diagnosis doesn’t fully capture how you’re feeling, and when you read about ADHD and autism, you see symptoms of both in yourself? Clinicians usually treat autism and ADHD as separate diagnoses; however, “studies have reported increased prevalence of both attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autistic spectrum disorders.” The term for the co-occurrence of ADHD and autism is called AuDHD. Understanding AuDHD means looking beyond ADHD and autism as separate conditions, and recognizing how they overlap."

"Cognitive baseline testing is a comprehensive evaluation used to measure an individual’s normal brain function across several key areas (e.g. memory, attention, processing speed, language, executive function, and visuospatial skills). Although cognitive baseline testing has long been used in clinical settings, many people are unfamiliar with it or assume it’s only meant for those already experiencing or have signs of cognitive challenges. By assessing brain function in key areas, clinicians establish a baseline. Having a baseline provides a reliable point of reference for comparing future performance over time."
