The BOCC is meeting today and tomorrow about their budget crisis! Josa will be there this morning talking to them about ideas and options. We need three things from you all today and tomorrow! 1. Plan a trip out west to Telluride this weekend? Be prepared for the ski resort to be closed on Saturday.

The Telluride Professional Ski Patrol Association voted Tuesday to strike after contract negotiations since June with the owners failed to yield an agreement on pay.

Pueblo stood up for working families! Voters elected FIVE Union Town-endorsed candidates — 2 to City Council, 1 to the D60 School Board, and swept both D70 seats — proving that solidarity beats division every time.

Pueblo voters rejected Forging Pueblo extremists and Trump’s local Republican machine, choosing compassion, decency, and community over cruelty and chaos.

This election was a wake-up call: Pueblo won’t stand by while Republicans threaten to starve families, slash SNAP, or shut down the government. We know who stands for working people — and it’s not them.

SNAP Benefits UPDATE: An emergency order from the U.S. Supreme Court means that payments are unlikely to be issued to most SNAP recipients as earlier announced.

Pueblo County and the State of Colorado are working to get more information and will share updates as soon as possible.

🚨 🚨 🚨 UPDATE SNAP BENEFITS: Pueblo County Department of Human Services has received notification from the State of Colorado that November’s SNAP benefits will likely be uploaded to EBT cards in the next few days.
