Natalie Williams Breast Care Foundation

Natalie Williams Breast Care Foundation Saving the lives of our sisters ... one breast, one test at a time! Supporting women of color in the District of Columbia and beyond. Join the movement!

The Natalie Williams Breast Care Foundation (NWBCF), founded in January 2013, is the leading voice in the promotion of breast care awareness among women of color. We focus specifically on the breast cancer disease and early detection, and the overall promotion of healthy breast care. Our efforts are targeted in the African American, Latino, Hispanic, African, and Caribbean communities across the globe. The NWBCF organization is governed by an appointed Board of Directors, which is comprised of survivors and supporters of breast cancer. We are supported by a medical advisory team of doctors and nurses who practice in the areas of breast surgery, oncology, radiology and healthy living. NWBCF was founded following Ms. Williams' journey with breast cancer at the age of 41. After being diagnosed in July of 2012, she underwent a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation in an effort to combat the disease. Today, she attributes her remission to an increased awareness of the risk factors of breast cancer and her continued focused on a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
