From Lupus Diagnosis to Living Proof: Why I Teach the 8 Laws of Health
Diagnosed with lupus at just 13, I quickly realized that if I was going to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor, I couldn’t follow the traditional path. My mother did her best—she gave me a strong spiritual foundation and fed us well—but nothing could have prepared her for the flood of symptoms that would follow.
Through juicing, smoothies, miso soup, and deeply nourishing foods, my mother passed on something greater than knowledge—she passed on healing wisdom. That lifestyle shift helped lay the foundation for how I live (and thrive) today.
Becoming a chiropractor wasn’t my first choice—but it was the right one. I believe the body can heal itself. And I am living proof.
“If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in His eyes… I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.” — Exodus 15:26

There was a time I couldn’t move due to joint pain and stiffness. I lost all my hair, wore a wig in high school, lived in a wheelchair, and nearly had my legs amputated. I endured multiple surgeries, a colostomy, medically induced psychosis, and felt utterly alone while being bullied for something no one understood. I wanted to give up.
But I didn’t.
My faith.
My family.
My mindset.
They carried me through.
I visualized healing. I imagined walking again, dancing, wearing a bikini, becoming a doctor. And with time, work, and surrender, it happened.
I made a promise to God: if He healed me, I’d spend my life helping others heal too.
