Embrace love. Embrace family. Embrace friends. Embrace challenges. Most of all embrace LIFE!" These are the words that are the foundation behind Team Anthony and why we are walking, running and biking with him and for him.

An amazing human, Anthony is beloved by so many because of his huge heart and undeniable charisma. Anthony not only loves running but in the past 20 years has completed 12 marathons for Boston Children's Hospital. As his team unites in this race for him, he continues to inspire those that know him with words of wisdom and a can't be beat attitude!

“There’s a windy road ahead. I look forward to taking each turn with graceful curiosity for better or worse knowing the road less traveled may be the greatest adventure to come!” - Anthony M. 9/1/2022

In collaboration with Unity Health Care, Sibley established the Johns Hopkins Cancer Care Clinic at Unity Health Care within the Parkside Health Center located in Ward 7. Donor support allows them to create this clinic, which houses a full-time Nurse Practitioner who practices a place-based model of care and is available to travel to Unity’s five additional health centers located throughout Wards 7 and 8.

Once patients are referred to Sibley for care, nurse navigator, Ilana, and patient navigator, Ariel, help navigate them through their appointments within the cancer center and throughout Sibley. Since starting in their roles just a few months ago, Ilana and Ariel have provided critical support for these patients, ensuring that they get the information, support, and care they need. In at least one instance, their outreach led a cancer patient who had previously refused care to come to Sibley for cancer treatment. Already, their dedicated care for this population has also increased referral numbers allowing us to treat more patients.
