A PCORI-funded randomized controlled trial compared two approaches to providing prenatal care and opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment:

1️⃣ Collaborative Care Model: Clinicians received four to six training sessions on OUD treatment, medications and counseling, while a clinical care coordinator helped women attend their prenatal visits and supported their recovery

2️⃣ Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes: Clinicians joined regular video sessions with an OUD treatment expert to discuss care and guidance options
