For over 50 years, these daffodils have risen from my mama’s yard in South Carolina — on time, every time. I captured these blooming yesterday.

No applause.
No announcement.
Just faithful return.

They bloom through changing seasons, family shifts, heartbreak, healing, births, funerals, and fresh starts. The land remembers. The roots remember.

And maybe that’s the lesson.
You can be buried and still bloom.
You can be seasonal and still be sacred.
You can rest underground and still rise radiant.

These flowers don’t rush. They don’t compete. They simply respond to the light and share their simplistic beauty year after year.

May we do the same.

A few days ago I provided massages at a company and most of the employees stated that they were either stressed or busy that day. One employee in particular told me after her massage with me ,"You just gave me hope that I can face the rest of my day."

Thats the result of 20 years of experience and intentional touch from a passionate massage therapist. Many folks treat this like any other job, it's an end to a means. Well this is my passion, I see every person as a human being and I govern myself accordingly.

Not everyday is rosey but when you walk in your purpose and do what you love, it shines through.

I had a great time this past weekend hiking with on their Cupid hike on Valentine's Day. It was my first time hiking in snow since I left the Army eons ago. But walking in the crisp winter air with some amazing Black folks was a fun and relaxing way to spend the holiday. Shoutout to my lil sis and her love for joining me on this hike.

I'm happy I was well enough to attend and I look forward to hiking more with Goombay in 2026.

Yesterday for , I got to show some massage love to some Black teachers at a local school. Massage is such a wonderful way to show self love and foster a sense of wellbeing in your mind body and spirit.

I was honored to witness the venerable Monks today. Such a powerful display of discipline, reverence, love, kindness, joy and peace. Seeing the thousands of people walking behind them moved me to tears. Their auras exudes love and peace.

May we all experience this level of love and peace in our lives.
