✨ Breast Augmentation- 10 Days Post-Op Update!

We recently shared this patient’s on-table results immediately after surgery. Today, we are checking in at 10 days post-op.

This 24-year-old patient came to Dr. Arsalan looking to enhance volume and improve overall breast contour.

Dr. Arsalan performed a bilateral breast augmentation using 320cc Motiva Ergonomix SmoothSilk® implants placed in a subfascial pocket (over the muscle).

At just 10 days into recovery, early shape and projection are already visible. Swelling will continue to decrease and the implants will gradually settle over the coming weeks as healing progresses.

One of the biggest factors in a successful outcome from a facelift surgery has nothing to do with the incision - it is preparation for recovery.

Before surgery, patients need to make sure they are in the right place financially, mentally, and logistically. Surgery should not create added stress or anxiety. You need to be able to take the time off, allow swelling to resolve, manage sutures and skincare, and let your body heal without feeling rushed.

There will be temporary swelling. There may be little irregularities early on. That is normal.

Here is a sneak peek of a male chest fat grafting procedure performed at West End Plastic Surgery.

This patient desired subtle chest augmentation using his own fat. After harvesting fat from the abdomen (as a part of his overall high definition male body contouring), Dr. Nye grafted it into the chest in both the intramuscular and submuscular planes to enhance contour and projection.

🔉 For this case, ultrasound guidance was used to visualize the exact plane of placement in real time. Rather than relying on feel alone, this allows for greater precision while helping avoid important structures.
