Resident Council

Resident Council Nursing Home residents organized to improve their condition. The Resident Council is an autonomous organization with four officers elected for one year terms.

The Officers include President, Vice President, Secretary and Sargeant at Arms.

I completed the medical clearance tests required for surgery. Now I hoped to have the surgery date set in a day or two.

Persistent problems in Nursing Homes involve the food. The Resident Council will working to improve the food offering. It will also attack the problem of inadequate transportation services to doctors and hospitals.

New Resident Council Officers were sworn in on July16. They will serve one year. The officers are:
Gene Mason, PhD is the President
Thomas Taylor, the Vice President, has been a member of the Resident Council for almost 20 years.
Angelina Isabella, the Secretary, has served two consequetive terms as Secretary. She has been a member of the Resident Council for four years.
Donna Wilkes, the Sargeant at Arms, former President of the RC.
