She’s also the smiling face you see when braces come off, helping patients cross the finish line and celebrate one of the most exciting moments of their orthodontic journey. 👏👏

Sometimes the best results come from a well thought out plan and a patient who is consistent with aligner wear and committed to myofunctional therapy 👏

Before
🦷 TMJ discomfort with clicking
👄 An open bite where the front teeth did not touch
🧠 A bite influenced by jaw position with the lower jaw sitting slightly back
👅 Tongue thrust during swallowing

After about 9️⃣ months of Invisalign
✨ Open bite corrected
🦷 Bite and tooth alignment improved
😌 More comfortable jaw function
👅 Supported by myofunctional therapy to improve tongue posture

The treatment plan included a midpoint evaluation to see how her bite responded before deciding whether to continue with or explore surgical options. Surgery was ultimately not needed 🙌👏
