The Commission on Nurse Certification has extended its deadline for recruiting volunteer Item Writers to serve on CNC's Item Development Committee. Members of this committee develop test questions for the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Certification Examination. Item Writers serve a three-year term which will end June 30, 2028. Candidates must be certified Clinical Leaders in good standing with CNC.

CNC announces that Zach Perpetua, DNP, RN, CMSRN, CNL, has been elected Chair of the CNC Board of Commissioners (CNCBOC). Dr. Perpetua is an Advanced Clinical Education Specialist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
