Today, I’m proud to share that I have officially earned my HIV PrEP Navigation Certification (HIVPNC) through HealthHIV.
This certification represents more than the completion of a training program. It reflects a continued commitment to strengthening HIV prevention, expanding access to care, and ensuring that individuals are supported with the tools and knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their health.
Over the past year, I have been deeply engaged in advancing my work through a wide range of training and certification programs focused on HIV prevention, quality improvement, leadership development, and community centered care. This includes completing comprehensive coursework in PrEP navigation, HIV epidemiology, linkage to care, LGBTQIA cultural humility, and quality management practices.
Each step in this process reinforced something I have long believed. Effective public health work begins by meeting people where they are, without barriers, without judgment, and with intention.
As a Community Health Advisor and Advocate working across nonprofit governance, public health planning, and national HIV initiatives, this certification further strengthens my ability to contribute to the HIV care continuum, particularly in improving linkage to care, retention, and long term health outcomes.

At this time, I am currently the only listed PrEP Navigator in New Hampshire, a responsibility I take seriously and one that underscores the importance of continuing to build capacity and access across our state.
Most importantly, this work is deeply personal.
I remain committed to ensuring that lived experience continues to inform policy, program design, and care delivery, because the strongest systems are built when the voices of those most impacted are not only included, but centered.
This is the work. I'm just getting started.
