I was told in massage school that being a man (of color) was a double-edged sword. That set with me for the first 2 years of my career. I have mastered my craft to be the best at what I do. So now any language or concerns that question me as a professional are mute. If a potential client wishes not to patronize me because of my gender, they have missed out on a grand opportunity to experience neverending happiness, my spin on a common phrase.
