We recently did a community science fair, and I wanted to create a really huge poster about how cavities happen. But I wanted it to be kid-friendly — something that would really make sense to children.

In the past, creating something like that would have taken me much longer. Designing, refining, getting the language right for kids.

With AI, I made it in no time. And it was such a hit with the families.

Here's what I love about this — I can take complex dental science and turn it around quickly into something visual and engaging that kids actually understand. Instead of spending days on design work, I can focus that time on patient care.

One of the biggest things we talked about at the fair was dispelling the myth that sugar alone causes cavities. A lot of kids came up to our table with lollipops in their mouths!

We explained that it takes germs AND sugar to create a cavity. So yes, you had candy today, but if you go brush it off, you're doing something about it. You're not powerless.

That's the kind of education we want to provide. And AI helps us do it faster and better, so we can reach more families with information that really empowers them.

We have team members in their 20s working alongside team members in their 60s. And that generational mix makes us SO much better at what we do.

Look at these photos from our recent shoot. We went FULL retro—50s swing skirts, the whole vibe. And yes, we looked absolutely adorable!

But here's the thing. This wasn't just about the aesthetic.

75 years ago, Crest ran one of their first toothpaste commercials. That 50s look we recreated was the era when pediatric dentistry looked COMPLETELY different from what we do today.

Back then, dental offices were sterile and clinical. The smell alone would make your stomach drop. No ceiling TVs. No music. Just those multi-colored ceiling tiles you'd stare at while you tried not to panic. The sounds were drilling, air, more drilling. That was your soundtrack.

Now look at what we've built at Children's Choice. The moment families walk through our door, they say "This doesn't even smell like a dental office!"

We use bubblegum-flavored air spray. We pump in scents that smell like cookies, not chemicals. We're playing music to mask those anxiety-triggering dental sounds. Our ceiling TVs show whatever kids want to watch. We have giant-sized teaching mouths and oversized toothbrushes that make learning fun.
