Did you know it’s National Infertility Awareness Week? 📣

Infertility impacts millions of women and families, but access to care is not created equal. Black women are more likely to experience fertility challenges, yet less likely to receive the care and support they deserve.

From cost barriers to stigma, mistrust, and limited access, the gaps are real. But so are the resources, advocates, and communities working to change that story.

Maternal health is everyone’s business. As we reframe infertility as a critical public health and reproductive justice issue, we must show up for our village at every stage—before pregnancy, during, after, and everywhere in between.🧡

Still riding the high from kicking off Black Maternal Health Week with our inaugural 5K Walk! The energy was incredible—mothers, fathers, partners, grandmothers, aunties, and community members all came together and showed up in a powerful way.

Maternal health is everybody’s business, and this past week proved just how strong we are when we stand together. Let’s keep this momentum going beyond Black Maternal Health Week—our work doesn’t stop here. 💜✨

Join Mamatoto Village for an unforgettable evening during Black Maternal Health Week.

We are honored to welcome to the Black Maternal Health Week Soirée.

On April 18, Washington DC’s most influential voices in culture, health and community will gather for a powerful night of purpose and collective action.

Because the truth is this: Black women are still dying in childbirth at rates that should not exist in 2026.

While the headlines come and go, Mamatoto Village has spent more than a decade ensuring Black women and families are equipped with the necessary tools to make the most informed decisions in their maternity care, parenting, and lives.

4000 families served. 0% maternal mortality.

Naturi knows that story. She lives it. She tells it. And on April 18, she’s helping us honor it.
