Last year, Hillcrest was proud to participate as a Health and Wellness Exhibitor for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference held September 24-27 at the DC Convention Center. Our participation was significant as it aligns with our FY25-26 impact strategies for how policy impacts practice.

Last summer we had a wildly successful Back to School Shoe and Supply Drive where our community came together to provide new shoes, pants, backpacks, haircuts, and braidings to students and families for the new school year. Smiles were lifted and good times were had. The numbers speak for themselves.

Last year, Hillcrest brought attention to the looming threats to Medicaid, and the detrimental effects that cuts would have on the people covered by Medicaid. Even now it’s important to be aware of the abrupt changes that Medicaid will experience in the New Year in order to mitigate possible complications in the future.

In March of 2025, our impact was given tangible shape as Hillcrest customers provided their feedback on the effectiveness of the services they received.

National Outcome Measures (NOMS) is a quality measure provided by SAMHSA that is used to determine the effectiveness of Hillcrest services. Hillcrest customers have spoken and here are the results in our NOMS Perception of Care feedback!
