🌙✨ Ramadan Senior & Disability Food Drive – Sahara Programs ✨🌙

This Ramadan, let’s turn compassion into action.

Sahara Programs is proudly delivering Ramadan food baskets directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities — ensuring they experience this blessed month with nourishment, dignity, and care. 💜

For many elderly and special needs community members, grocery shopping and meal preparation can be difficult. Your support helps us bring essential food items straight to their doorstep — safely, respectfully, and with love.

🤝 For Donors:
Your generosity can sponsor a Ramadan food basket and bring relief to a senior or disabled neighbor. Every donation is Zakat-eligible and directly supports underserved families in our community.

📦 For Clients & Families:
If you or someone you know is a senior or living with a disability and needs assistance this Ramadan, please register through the link or QR code on the flyer. Our team will coordinate home delivery.

Sahara Programs is so Proud to Partner with UMCA USA for our Mega Ramadan Distribution.
Please register and share. It’s First Come First Serve.
For this year’s Ramadan Basket Distribution, Sahara has selected Fredericksburg as a primary distribution location in order to reach families in areas with more limited access to charitable services. While much of the greater DMV region is already well served by other organizations, our focus is to help fill gaps and ensure support reaches communities that may otherwise be underserved.
To ensure accessibility, delivery arrangements can be made for participants who are unable to travel to the pickup location. Our goal is thoughtful coordination and equitable distribution, so assistance reaches families where it is needed most.

As we prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan, Sahara Programs is honored to support our Muslim American families with food baskets to help provide suhoor and iftar for their homes.

Distribution will be held

Assalamo Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters
Sahara Programs has launched it Ramadan Food Basket Campaign to address the needs of the families impacted by SNAP and Benefit Cuts. We want to make sure everyone has proper Iftar and Suhoor on their tables. Please support and also share with your circle. The goal is to distribute 5,000 baskets among our marginalized communities.

Sahara Programs is proud to share that our Transition House and Domestic Violence Shelter has successfully graduated two strong survivors! 💪

Through dedicated support, we helped them earn their driver’s licenses, receive technical education, and secure employment — paving the way for true independence and confidence.
