Today was more than just a trip—it was an investment in the lives and futures of our young people.
Our GirlGuards from Troops had the incredible opportunity to visit Washington County Ambulance and Chair EMS, where they stepped into a real-world environment and began learning life-saving skills that truly matter. In a world where every second counts, teaching our teens CPR and first aid isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. These are the kinds of skills that empower them to step up in an emergency, to be the difference-maker, to potentially save a life before help even arrives.
What made today so powerful is that our young people didn’t just hear about it—they experienced it. They got a behind-the-scenes look at EMS operations, explored the inside of ambulances, and saw firsthand how the dispatch center works to coordinate life-saving responses. It opened their eyes to the reality that ordinary people—people just like them—can play an extraordinary role in critical moments.
We are not just raising kids—we are equipping leaders, responders, and world-changers. When we teach our youth skills like CPR and first aid, we’re giving them confidence, responsibility, and the ability to serve others in the most urgent and meaningful way.
Today reminded us: never underestimate what our young people are capable of. With the right training and opportunity, they are more than ready to rise to the moment and make a real impact. Thank you Washington County Special Ambulance & Chair EMS, Inc. for hosting our group.
