As we bid farewell to February, we wish to acknowledge the outpouring of kindness and support from our community, families, and local businesses. The Picket Fence in Chillicothe's generous donation of 12 exquisite flower arrangements on February 13th greatly enhanced our community's decor. The residents were overjoyed by the beautiful displays throughout the community and dining areas. Following this, we were delighted to welcome a new resident who enjoyed playing pool. When we mentioned our interest in acquiring a pool table but cited budget constraints, a family member graciously offered to donate one. The pool table arrived on Saturday, and residents lined up eagerly as it was assembled. Amidst a world filled with challenges, Chapters Living of Washington chooses to focus on the abundance of blessings we have received.

We have had an incredible couple of weeks, with our Holiday Open House standing out as a highlight. The event was a true celebration, featuring Santa's arrival, musical performances by both our residents and employees, and outstanding food. It began with a meaningful Ribbon Cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce, setting the tone for a joyous occasion that showcased the blessings our community enjoys.

As you all know, I absolutely love sharing the good in our community as well as the good in society. As the Director of Chapters Living of Washington, I see it all too often that our seniors have wish lists and bucket lists that have never been filled. As I tell them daily, it’s never too late. This Holiday season is no exception. I received a call this morning from EXP Realty. Candace Martin, Managing Briker/Realtor saw a post about our Angel Tree and wanted to know how many of our Angels were left on our tree. I told her that there were approximately 15. Candace stated that her team wanted to come and pick all of them up. There were 11 left and she grabbed them all. My tears were close to flowing. To think that we all see and hear so much negative in this world only to find that the good by far, outweighs the bad, is absolutely humbling. Our community is forever grateful.
