A little rain wasn’t going to keep us away! ☔💙

AMI, Inc.’s Family Navigators, Katherine Elizabeth & Leah Cox, proudly took part in the CASA for Kids, Inc. Washington County Walk for a Child—and we truly had such a great time, rain and all!

Held during National Child Abuse Prevention Month, this event is about so much more than walking a mile. It’s about coming together to support, advocate for, and stand up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect—helping ensure their voices are heard when they need it most.

We were grateful to be part of such a meaningful morning and to walk alongside a community that cares so deeply. Rain or shine, it was absolutely worth it. 💙

🌎✨ Happy Earth Day from our CPS Program at AMI! ✨🌎

Today was full of Food, Fun, and Growth—inside and out! 🌱💚

We spent time learning about the benefits of creating a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and how it can support our mental health journey. Participants got hands-on by planting their own seedlings to take home, a reminder that growth takes time, care, and patience 🌼

We also explored our “Mental Health Garden” 🌿
- What are our weeds (stressors) that we need to manage?
- What feeds us (supports) and helps us thrive?

It was an inspiring day of connection, reflection, and community 🌞

We’re looking for artists ages 14+ to help us grow our annual community art show—featuring local artists, photographers, sculptors, and poets who experience or have experienced, mental health and/or substance use challenges!

Recovery has a voice, and it deserves to be seen. Come share yours. 💬

We’re so excited to share the success of our very first Pop-Up Family Navigator Night! 🎉

We welcomed 41 family members for an evening full of connection, laughter, and fun. Families enjoyed delicious treats from Travelin Tom’s Coffee Truck and pizza while spending quality time together. The trivia challenges and escape room–themed activities brought everyone together and made for a truly memorable night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success—we loved seeing our community connect and grow.

Be sure to keep an eye out for our next event coming this May! 🌸 We’ll be hosting our FREE community spring event at Jollick Manor in Washington, and we can’t wait to see you there!
