A few notes regarding how we're dealing with the current COVID-19 pandemic at Down East Dental Lab.
1. We are currently open for business, and operating on a fairly normal schedule. We are open at 8:00 AM as usual. Our closing time may vary, based on which client offices are open and our in house workload. For instance, yesterday (Monday, March 23) we closed at 4 PM. We will probably keep that schedule as long as it makes sense, and adjust accordingly as we go along.
2. We ask that all repairs & try ins be EXTREMELY well cleaned and disinfected before they are sent to our lab. We are treating all cases as if they have not been disinfected, as usual. However, especially with repairs, you can help us tremendously by disinfecting them, and sealing them before sending them to us.
3. We will not be entering offices unless there is a pick up or a need to visit your office for the foreseeable future. This will limit our exposure to your patients and staff. If you have a back door or employee entrance that we can use, as opposed to entering through your waiting room, please let us know if we can use that as well. Anything to help us increase our social distance is greatly appreciated! With that in mind, please call us when you have a case for us to pick up. We will continue to check in with you all periodically to see how you're doing, and to check schedules.
4. If we reach a point where it doesn't make sense for us to be here on a set schedule, we may close temporarily. We are not planning on doing this until we absolutely have to do so. If this occurs, we will notify all of our clients ASAP. In the event of an emergency case, or if you have a patient scheduled and need our services for a repair or anything else, you can contact us and we will be here for you.
