In a heartwarming event, Jody from Heart to Heart Hospice visited our community to pay tribute to our esteemed veterans. Each veteran was presented with a certificate and a commemorative coin as a token of our deep appreciation. We extend our sincere gratitude for their unwavering service and immense sacrifices.

Congratulations Angie Brashear, RN, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Eastgate Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation is thrilled to announce Ms. Angie Brashear as our 2025 Quest for Excellence winner. Angie is admired by everyone for her easy-going nature, helpful spirit, positive attitude, and the genuine love she shows to each of her residents.

A dedicated RN, Angie has been serving residents and families for two and a half years with exceptional care and commitment. Her co-workers describe her as attentive, a true team player, and someone who is always kind, smiling, and ready to go the extra mile. One colleague shared, “She does more than her share and has fun doing it all,” a testament to her uplifting presence and work ethic. Angie embodies all of ASC’s core values, Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Angie shares that her desire to care for others first inspired her to enter the nursing profession, but it is her deep love and respect for the elderly that keeps her devoted to long-term care. Her compassion shines through in everything she does, making her a true role model for caregivers everywhere.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys a happy life with her husband, Kelly, to whom she has been married for 10 years. Together they cherish their blended family of three children, three grandchildren, and two spoiled boxers. In her spare time, Angie loves relaxing in the pool and spending time with those she
loves most.

Angie sets the standard for excellence and inspires all of us at Eastgate Manor every day. Congratulations, Angie, on this well-deserved honor!

We had a wonderful Halloween! Children of all ages came to visit our residents. It was delightful to see all the creative and varied costumes. We made sure every single trick-or-treater left with a generous supply of delicious candy. It was a truly enjoyable evening for everyone involved.

The residents of our community had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween this year. A festive party was held, and everyone enjoyed a variety of delicious treats. As always, a highly anticipated game of Bingo brought lots of fun and excitement to the celebration.
