🌷✨ Hello, March! ✨🌷

Spring is right around the corner, you can feel the sunshine in the air, and March is packed with fun celebrations!! We have so many exciting things to look forward to this month. 💚

Here’s what’s coming up:

🎉 March 11 – Ms. Leesa’s 1-Year Anniversary
Join us in celebrating Ms. Leesa! We are so grateful to have her as part of our Northstar family and appreciate everything she does for our kiddos each day.

🍿 National Popcorn Lovers Day – March 12
Get ready for some crunchy, buttery fun as we celebrate with popcorn-themed activities and treats!

🥧 Pie Day Celebration – March 13
We’re celebrating Pie Day a little early with some sweet (and maybe a little silly) pie fun!

🧴 Poison Prevention Week – March 15–21
We’ll be focusing on important safety lessons to help our kiddos learn how to stay safe and healthy.

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day – March 17
Don’t forget to wear your green! We’ll be celebrating with festive activities and lots of lucky fun.

🎂 So Many March Birthdays!
We have lots of special birthdays this month and can’t wait to celebrate our amazing kiddos!

March is going to be full of learning, laughter, and celebrations. We’re so excited to share all the fun with our families! 🌈💚

When children hear and repeat positive words like “I am kind,” “I am brave,” or “I can try,” their minds begin to look for ways to make those thoughts true.

Little thoughts can create big confidence. 💛

What a fantastic Parent Night Out at Northstar Preschools! ⭐️

We started the evening with families decorating cookies together, then it was time for parents to head out while the kids stayed behind for a night full of fun and friends.

From creating picture frames to handstand contests, bingo games, and a pizza party, the laughter never stopped. We wrapped up the night with a cozy movie to help everyone wind down after such an exciting evening. 🎨🤸‍♂️🎲🍕🎬

Thank you to all the families who joined us and trusted us with your little ones for the night. We love making these special memories together, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Our Pre-K students explored the book "Be a Maker" and learned that everyone has the power to create, imagine, and build something special. The story reminds us that being a “maker” means using our ideas, trying new things, and expressing who we are.

After reading the book, our young makers got to work on their own masterpieces. From colorful creations to unique designs, each piece reflects their creativity, confidence, and imagination. We are so proud of our little artists and the amazing ideas they brought to life!

🌟 Black History Spotlight: Rosa Parks 🌟

Today we celebrate the birthday of Rosa Parks, a brave woman who helped change history! 🎉

Rosa Parks is known as the “Mother of the Civil Rights Movement.” One day, she chose to stand up for what was right by staying seated on a bus, even when she was told to move because of her skin color.

Her quiet courage helped people work together for fairness and kindness. Rosa Parks reminds us that even small actions can make a big difference.
