Expert orthopaedic care is expanding at Daviess Community Hospital!

Dr. Glenn T. Johnson II is joining the CORE Center in May, providing comprehensive care for joint pain and injuries, with specialized expertise in the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Appointments are available now, giving patients the opportunity to schedule ahead and access care without delay.

Daviess Community Hospital was honored to be part of today’s grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration for Vigiles Safety Academy in Bloomfield.

DCH Chief Nursing Officer Jenna Bedwell and Emergency Services Manager Janell Berry joined community partners in celebrating Vigiles' five years of public safety education and the opening of their new facility, which features an immersive indoor simulation lab. It was an inspiring reminder of the importance of training, preparedness, and collaboration in caring for our communities.

Preparing for a new baby can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone.

Daviess Community Hospital’s Childbirth Education Classes help expectant parents build confidence and knowledge before delivery. During this four-week session starting April 21, experienced childbirth educators guide families through labor and delivery, pain management options, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

Classes are held at DCH from 6:15–8:30 p.m. and provide practical information to help you feel ready for your baby’s arrival.
