GFF is one of the amazing companies we carry. What they have posted says it all for us and many others in the h**p industry. Today is a dark day for us, but it’s not over yet. In the coming days the Mo H**p trade association will be presenting our next actions.

Personally for Simply Natural we will continue to operate as normal for the next few months. As it gets closer to the Nov 12th deadline and know more about how the next steps are going, we will update everyone on how Simply Natural will continue.

Today is a tough day for us at Grandpas Family Farms LLC and for many across Missouri.

With the signing of the new bill by Mike Kehoe, h**p farms like ours—along with countless others—are facing shutdown. During the bill signing ceremony, products like “THC Oreos” and “THC Doritos” were used as examples of the industry. Those products don’t represent who we are or what we do at Grandpa’s Family Farms.

We’ve always supported responsible regulation and agree that misleading or unsafe products should be addressed. But this decision goes far beyond that. By restricting CBD sales to dispensaries only, Missouri is effectively cutting off access for family farms, veterans, small CBD businesses, and individuals who rely on these products for relief without intoxication.

This is more than policy—it impacts livelihoods, communities, and people’s ability to choose what works for them.

We’re still here, and for now, we will continue operating as we process what this means for our future. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

Devastating for us. The governor didn’t even meet with the H**p Trade Association like he said he would.

Governor Kehoe has announced a bill signing ceremony for Thursday, April 23, and HB 2641 is listed among the bills to be signed into law.
We are still holding on to hope that he will reconsider.
So many Missourians spoke up. So many letters were written. So many stories were shared. So many people begged to be heard.
We can only hope the Governor takes one more look at the people, families, patients, farmers, workers, and small businesses this will hurt before it is too late.
We hope he reconsiders. We hope he listens. We hope mercy and common sense win out.

Over 10,000 handwritten letters and 2,000 signatures collected in a week and a half across the state by people opposed to HB2641!!!

A good article but slightly misleading, if you read the bill it puts all products made from the cannabis plant (full spectrum h**p, broad spectrum, isolate) into the cannabis category. Only dispensaries will be able to sell anything made from h**p. And most dispensaries don’t sell products similar to ours (low or no THC products)

If you aren’t able to come by the shop and fill out a petition letter, the Missouri H**p Trade Association has put together a petition for the Governor to veto this bill. Please sign if our h**p products have helped you.

Come by the shop and fill out a letter to the Governor asking him to veto the bill and tell him about how H**p helps you, we will even send it for you.
If he signs this bill, you all will be forced to buy your h**p from a dispensary and most dispensaries don’t sell high CBD, low THC products. H**p will no longer exist here in Missouri.

HB 2641 has officially passed the Missouri House in a 126–23 vote.
After clearing the Senate following hours of debate, and moving quickly through Fiscal Review, this bill has now been Truly Agreed and Finally Passed. It now heads to Governor Kehoe’s desk for signature or veto.

Let us be clear…We WILL remember this.

We will remember the votes. We will remember the voices that stood with small businesses and those who didn’t. We will remember who chose fairness, and who chose to hand an entire industry over to a select few.

WE WILL REMEMBER EVERY NAME.

This is not the end. This is the moment where it becomes all boots on the ground. Retailers. Farmers. Veterans. Consumers.

The way the bill is written, we would no longer be able to sell CBD products. They say it’s just removing “intoxicating” THC products, but it’s not. Everything h**p would only be sold by dispensaries and most dispensaries only sell products high in THC. So our customers that CBD is helping but don’t want the high, would lose access to their products. Please contact your representative and tell them to vote no! This is the last chance to stop this bill.

Missouri, we are at a critical turning point.

HB 2641 has passed the Senate and is now moving to the House for final approval. If this bill becomes law, it will eliminate nearly all h**p product categories in Missouri, leaving only beverages and dismantling an entire industry overnight.

This impacts small businesses, farmers, manufacturers, employees and consumers across our state.

We have only a few days to act.

We are calling on EVERY stakeholder, every supporter and every Missourian who believes in fair regulation to take immediate action.
