If you haven’t joined us yet, come check out our Perimenopause & Menopause Circle at Camas Library!
This ongoing Circle is facilitated by Dr. Kellie, ND and Emily Olson, with rotating guest speakers and a quarterly theme. Our intention is to blend expert guidance, holistic education, and meaningful connection. This is a space to share, learn, ask questions, and support one another through this important life stage.

This is for women in perimenopause and menopause—we want to hear from all of you. This is not a class, it’s a SHARE.

Feel free to DM us questions ahead of time and we’ll try to cover them during the Circle.

Here’s a nutrient dense recipe with plenty of protein & fiber to support healthy MUSCLE MASS & GUT HEALTH. Thank you

Salmon, Broccoli, and Quinoa Bowl:

🥦 Ingredients:
1 salmon fillet
Drizzle of avocado or olive oil
Seasonings for salmon: garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli
½ cup cooked quinoa
1-2 tbsp sauce of choice (Bachan’s Japenese BBQ Sauce, Cleveland Kitchen’s Kimchi Ranch, tahini, or coconut aminos are some ideas!)
Optional: 1 tbsp of kimchi or sauekraut

🗒️ Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place salmon fillet in a baking dish and drizzle with oil and sprinkle desired seasonings on top. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until salmon is cooked through.

While the salmon is cooking, prepare quinoa if needed (according to package directions) and add broccoli to a pan over medium heat with a splash of oil. Sautee until bright green and tender.

When everything is ready, assemble the salmon, broccoli, and quinoa on a plate and drizzle with your desired sauce of choice. Enjoy!

OUR RECIPE OF THE MONTH with Emily Penn🫐

I love a meal that can do it all and these HIGH PROTEIN OVERNIGHT OATS & SEEDS fit the bill.

It clocks in at 31 grams of protein and 10 grams of fiber, making it an amazing blood-sugar balancing meal. Blood sugar balance is KEY for stabilizing the nervous system and your mood.

The fiber from the oats and seeds + the probiotics from the kefir (kefir has way more probiotics than yogurt alone!) makes this super nourishing for the gut, which has many downstream effects on our health, including our stress resilience and mood.

This recipe is one serving, but feel free to make a few servings at a time so you can have breakfast all week. One less thing to stress about :)
