Now Hiring: Lead Medical Biller & Coder/ Client Relations Manager
Are you an experienced medical biller and coder with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of practice management operations? We are looking for a Lead Biller & Coder who is ready to take the next step in their career — overseeing a team and managing client relationships with professionalism and expertise.
Role:
As our Lead Medical Biller & Coder / Client Relations Manager, you will play a key leadership role in our billing department. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of billers and coders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing processes, and serving as the primary point of contact for our clients.
Responsibilities:
•Supervise and support a team of medical billers and coders
•Oversee day-to-day billing, coding, charge posting, and payment reconciliation
•Serve as the main liaison between our billing team and healthcare provider clients
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing and coding guidelines
•Review and resolve complex billing issues, denials, and appeals
•Monitor team productivity, quality, and turnaround times
•Conduct staff training, audits, and performance evaluations
•Collaborate with clients to improve revenue cycle performance and address concerns
•Assist with onboarding of new clients and providers
Required Qualifications:
•3+ years of experience in medical billing and coding (multi-specialty preferred)
•Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and modifier use
•Previous experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
•Familiarity with EHR/PM systems and clearinghouses
•Knowledge of practice management workflows and front-to-back billing processes
•Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and client service skills
•Experience handling denials, appeals, and payer communication
•Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize effectively
Preferred:
•Certification (CPC, CPB, or similar)
•Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
•Bilingual a plus (not required)
