Yesterday, we officially launched our community campaign, Embracing Sobriety, Building Hope, on email and online and we can feel the momentum! 💙

We also extend our gratitude to Rep Jubilee Underwood and her team, who joined us at our location to celebrate the beginning of this important journey. We shared stories that highlighted the need and discussed our plan to raise $250,000 for the expansion of our long-term recovery services at AARS.

✨ We are pleased to announce the official launch of Embracing Sobriety, Building Hope: our community campaign aimed at raising $250,000 for the expansion of long-term recovery services at AARS.

Since 1982, AARS has helped more than 3,300 Alaskans in reclaiming their lives through our unique recovery program on a working farm. Now, it’s time to grow our program so that we may better help Alaskans in their recovery journey.

We invite you, our valued stakeholders: friends, neighbors, businesses, and partners, to join us in contributing towards a greater cause. Help us in expanding our services, supporting recovery for Alaskans, and building a more healthy and strong future for Alaska.

Last Friday was incredible, filled with laughter, creativity, and meaningful connections. 🧡

Our staff and clients enjoyed delicious food, enjoyable games, fun prizes, pumpkin carving, and costume contests, creating a perfect mix of fun and fellowship.
