✨ Program Spotlight: Vocational Training at AARS ✨

At AARS, recovery focuses on building a future for our clients. Our Vocational Training Program provides clients with an opportunity to develop practical real-life, job-relevant skills during treatment, preparing them for employment opportunities upon graduation.

Our current offered vocational tracks include Carpentry, Welding, Small Engine Repair, and Restaurant Ready, with additional options anticipated in the near future. These practical hands-on vocational programs assist clients in developing confidence, responsibility, and strong work habits, all of which are crucial for achieving long-term stability and success.

Recovery involves second chances, and vocational training transforms those chances into opportunities. Preparation meets opportunities, and we are preparing our clients for their future employment opportunities.

We appreciated the opportunity for Corbin, our Director of Operations, and Peter, our Vocational Training Instructor, to attend and participate in a recent local Building Trades and Union Council meeting and share how AARS’ vocational programs are preparing clients for careers in the trades.

Attending the meeting was a positive step toward creating apprenticeship and long-term employment pathways for our clients. We look forward in continuing our partnership with the local Building Trades and Union Council. πŸ’š
