🎃 Our Halloween Food Drive was a huge success, thanks to YOU!
Seeing those donations make a real difference for our neighbors is the best part. 🥫🙌🏼

A big thank-you to the Mat-Su Food Bank for everything you do!

As we head into the holiday season, we’re excited to keep supporting families and children in need. Our Toys for Tots Drive is now underway, with collection boxes at both our Palmer and Wasilla offices through mid-December! 🎁💚

You can donate new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, with a special need for gifts for kids aged 10–17. Great ideas include dolls, action figures, books, board games, science kits, or sports equipment.

Think about what a child in your life would love to receive this Christmas, and consider sharing that same joy with a child in our community. 💚

Family Medicine - Wasilla

👋 Meet Tara, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience and a passion for caring for patients of all ages. She has provided full-scope care in both primary and same-day settings, helping patients of all ages feel heard, supported, and empowered in their health journeys.

🌵 Originally from Southern Arizona, Tara relocated to Alaska in the summer of 2023 to trade the desert heat for the scenic beauty of the Mat-Su Valley. She officially joined the Capstone team in May of this year and is excited to care for families and individuals right here in Wasilla.

🌲When she’s not in the clinic, Tara embraces everything Alaska has to offer. She loves spending time outdoors hiking, recently took up running (already completing two 5Ks!), and is currently training for her first 10K. She also enjoys yoga, cooking, and staying active with her husband and three children through sports, school events, and family adventures.
