Available Shift:
1- Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (40 hours)
2- Saturday & Sunday 12am-Noon & Monday & Tuesday 4pm-midnight (total 40 hours which includes 8 hours of overtime pay)

Must have recent caregiving experience and be willing and able to work alone, cook meals, assist with medications, clean, assist with toileting & showering, and other hygiene needs.

Must pay for background check, ($88.00 will reimburse after 3 months of employment), obtain fingerprints, & have a current CPR certification.
Background checks are taking 3-4 weeks to clear so training cannot begin until you are cleared.

We are a nurse owned and operated five-bedroom assisted living home located in the heart of Wasilla. We take pride in our work and our reputation and work closely to provide the best level of care to our clients. We offer paid training, time and a half for holidays worked, bi-weekly direct deposit, and paid overtime. We are currently seeking 2 part-time employees for the following positions.

Saturday and Sunday 12am-noon
and
Saturday and Sunday Noon-midnight
These are 12 hour shifts. You get 4 hours of overtime pay per day.
Pay $13.00 per hour, $19.50 per hour overtime.

You must have experience working with elderly, bed bound patients, and those with Alzheimer's and Dementia. You must be able to manage your time effectively to assist with the resident's needs. Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs, work unsupervised/independent, prepare meals, assist with hygiene, showering, toileting, dressing, laundry, cleaning, etc...

Night Shift: Friday (Saturday morning) & Saturday (Sunday morning) 12am-8am ($13.00)

This is a great schedule to have your week days free for camping without the crowds, for those going to school, etc. There is also opportunity to get more hours covering for coworkers time off and when other situations arise. You get 4 hours of overtime each day so you work 24 hours per week but get paid like you worked 28 hours!
