The Spring Equinox isn’t just a date.
It’s a shift in light, in rhythm, in how the body functions.
Longer days change your biology.
Energy starts to come back online.
Digestion, movement, detox pathways… all begin to wake up.
This is why you might feel:
Lighter, but also restless
Ready for change, but not sure where to start
More aware of what’s been sitting in your body
Nothing is wrong.
You’re just coming out of winter.
And the instinct isn’t to push harder.
It’s to clear.
This is when we see a natural shift toward “spring cleaning” in both home and body.
The people who feel the best this time of year
Aren’t doing the most
They’re supporting what’s already happening
If you’ve been feeling it…
that subtle pull to reset, to lighten, to clear, DM us and we’ll get you in for the spring reset you’re being called to 🌸

The time change does not just affect sleep.
It can shift your body’s entire rhythm.
Your circadian rhythm helps regulate sleep, hormones, energy levels, and digestion. When the clocks move forward or back, your internal timing may take a few days to adjust.
Many people notice things like:
• Difficulty falling asleep
• Feeling more tired during the day
• Brain fog or irritability
• Digestion feeling a little off
• Bowel movements happening later than usual
Your digestive system actually follows a daily rhythm as well. Many people naturally eliminate around the same time each morning. When the clock changes, that pattern can temporarily shift, which is why some people feel slightly backed up for a few days.
Some simple ways to help your body reset:
☀️ Get morning sunlight within the first hour of waking
🚶 Gentle movement or a short walk in the morning
💧 Stay hydrated and support mineral balance
🛌 Keep sleep and wake times consistent
At Organic Edge, some clients also incorporate supportive wellness tools into their routines during times when their body feels out of rhythm.
Colon hydrotherapy is often used when digestion feels sluggish or when people feel temporarily backed up after schedule changes.
Our Infrared Wellness Pod uses full spectrum infrared, including near, mid, and far infrared wavelengths that gently warm the body and promote circulation and a natural sweat response. Many people use infrared sessions to support relaxation and help the body reset.
Sometimes when your rhythm shifts, your body just needs a little support returning to balance.

Curious what actually happens during a colonic session?
Everyone is curious about colon hydrotherapy, but most people aren’t sure what actually happens during a session.
So here’s what it’s like at Organic Edge.
We use the Angel of Water system, an open system that uses gravity-fed, temperature-controlled water rather than pressure.
If it’s your first time with us, or it’s been a while since your last visit, we begin with a short consultation so we can answer your questions and walk you through everything.
Sessions take place in a beautifully designed treatment room and typically last about 45 minutes. A small disposable nozzle, about the size of a pencil, is self inserted approximately an inch.
Warm filtered water gently flows through the system while you relax on the table. We provide a warm heating pad for your abdomen and our team supports you throughout the session.
Most first-time clients say the same thing after their session:
They wish they hadn’t waited so long to try it.

Running Organic Edge has introduced me to some of the strongest women I know.
Women navigating businesses, families, health challenges, hormones, stress, reinvention… sometimes all at once.
I see women every day who are quietly doing the work to feel better, rebuild their health, and take care of themselves while still holding everything else together.
The resilience I see in women every day never stops amazing me. Thank you to all the women supporting me on my journey. Your strength inspires me and your kindness means the world to me.
Happy International Women’s Day.

Women navigating businesses, families, health challenges, hormones, stress, reinvention… sometimes all at once.
I see women every day who are quietly doing the work to feel better, rebuild their health, and take care of themselves while still holding everything (and everyone) else together.
I’m really grateful to be part of that process.
Happy International Women’s Day.

Things I’d never normalize as a wellness practitioner.
Consistently sleeping 5 hours
Ignoring mineral hydration
Living in chronic stress
Normalizing constipation
Stacking extreme protocols without recovery
Wellness isn’t built on extremes.
It’s built on rhythm.
Sleep, hydration, nervous system regulation, and digestion.
These are the same foundations we support every day inside our treatment rooms.

For those who are new here
or only see me in scrubs (to prove I own other clothes 😉).
Here’s a little more of, my why.
Lyme disease came first.
It completely changed my life.
I was exhausted. Inflamed. Frustrated.
My body did not feel like it was working properly and I could not get real answers.
So I started learning differently.
Not just symptom management.
But gut health.
Inflammation.
Drainage.
The nervous system.
How the body actually works as a system.
I became obsessive in the best way. I wanted to understand how to support the body instead of override it.
And just as I was starting to figure out holistic healing, my dad was diagnosed with colon cancer.
He was 49.
At the time, that was younger than the recommended screening age.
He passed away a month and a half later.
There was no time to be proactive.
No time for second chances.
That changes you.
Lyme woke me up.
Losing my dad made this work non negotiable.
This is why I care so much about gut health.
This is why I believe in maintenance.
This is why I believe in prevention.
This is why Organic Edge exists.
Not from fear.
From awareness.
It is Colon Cancer Awareness Month.
Colon cancer remains one of the most common cancers. It’s attacking younger and younger.
If sharing this encourages even one person to advocate or care for their health, that matters to me.
Your health is not something to wait on.
Prevention is always better than playing catch up.
Terrain, terrain, terrain.
That is the real organic edge.

Still bloated… even when you eat healthy?
It’s not always about what you’re eating.
It’s often about how your body is moving it.
Here are a few patterns we see often:
• Adding fiber when motility is slow
Fiber absorbs water and adds bulk. But if transit time is already sluggish, more bulk can increase pressure, gas, and distension.
• Fasting too often
Strategic fasting can support metabolic health. But chronic under-fueling reduces stimulation of the migrating motor complex, the wave-like activity that clears the intestinal tract. No intake equals less movement signaling. Rhythm matters.
• Constant cold and raw intake
Digestion depends on circulation, enzyme release, and parasympathetic tone. For some nervous systems, frequent iced drinks and raw foods can reduce digestive efficiency and contribute to bloating.
• Stress stacking
Digestion is parasympathetic. Elevated cortisol, high caffeine, and constant output shift resources away from elimination and enzyme production.
• Fermented foods and probiotics in sensitive systems.
Ferments contain live organisms and histamine. In cases of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or histamine sensitivity, additional microbial or histamine load may increase bloating, flushing, or anxiety.
Gut health isn’t intensity.
It’s rhythm.
Motility.
Hydration.
Mineral balance.
Nervous system regulation.
And sometimes guided support to help the body re-establish flow.
