Alfred Waterboro Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital for canine, feline and large animals.

We are located in Southern Maine and have been non-corporate and privately owned since 1987! Alfred Waterboro Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Southern Maine and has been non-corporate and privately owned since 1987. Owner Magda Rosol Gauvin, DVM provides general medical care and surgical services including dentistry. Our facility offers digital X-ray, in house laboratory services, soft tissue surgeries, and oral prophylaxis. We focus on preventative medicine and encourage thorough annual exams, in order for early detection of potential medical concerns. We want to ensure longevity and long term health for furry family members.

🐾 Field Trip Fun at Alfred Waterboro Veterinary Hospital! 🐾

Yesterday our students had an incredible hands-on learning experience during our visit to the Alfred Waterboro Veterinary Hospital! A huge thank you to Dr. Gauvin and her amazing team for welcoming us so warmly.

Our young scientists got to:
🔬 See what a tick looks like under a microscope
🐶 Watch a beautiful dog bravely demonstrate how a blood sample is taken
⚖️ Learn how large animals are weighed
❤️ Learn what a dog’s heart looks like when it has heartworm
🏥 Explore the exam rooms and learn how veterinarians care for different animals
✨ …and so much more!

The kids were absolutely fascinated—exactly what we love to see! Thank you again to the Alfred Waterboro Veterinary Hospital for hosting us and giving our students such a memorable learning opportunity. 💙
