๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ is an emotional response to a perceived threat. Emotions are responses to other perceptions too. You are normal to feel, you just need to know its ok, then you can work out why you're responding๐how?

If you perceived a threat, a part of your brain the limbic amygdala will receive that signal & respond with your survival mechanism.
๐You'll feel the need to either fight, flight, freeze that perceived threat, depends on what you have deemed the best way to survive in that moment.
๐You'll notice you're cannot access rational thought so easily, this is because you've no time to think, only survive
๐You'll find that you are hyperfocused on what you have perceived is dangerous
๐You'll feel the physical fear. I.e the stress hormones such as adrenaline to get you to survive.
๐You'll notice worst case scenario thinking about the thing you think is dangerous.
All normal, all survival mechanism, emotion normal when you can see what you have deemed is dangerous.
Could be
Anxiety, what if im anxious?๐
Panic, what if I panic? ๐
People noticing, what if peope notice & they react? ๐
Failing, what if I fail at keeping my emotions in๐
Your heart, what if this heart racing is a heart attack? ๐
All normal fears but fears that cause the thing that you're fearing, the survival response.
Its normal but you'll want to find out how to regulate your nervous system & how to face these fears in order to exit(see the end)
All emotions are a response to something.
Examples
Sadness - I think I've been let down
Guilt - I think I've let others down
Anger - I think you are making me look like a failure
Disappointed- I think there is something wrong with me and its my fault.
Etc.
All normal, the problem can happen when others tell us you are not allowed to have this emotion, you must shut up, button up, stop.it now. Thus learning that emotions are not to be shown. Or you could have decided this on your own. Then when you feel.a normal emotion you try to fight it & feel very vulnerable & possibly that you need to be fixed.
All emotions are normal but if you find that your day is about them ๐๐
