127 years ago, one woman changed everything for senior women in Waterbury.

Sarah Donaldson started with $10 and a belief that every woman deserves a place to call home. That belief became Southmayd Home and it is still alive today.

This April 21 and 22, we are participating in Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills, a 36-hour community giving campaign that brings local donors, businesses, and nonprofits together for the causes that matter most.
