That constant need to clear your throat or feeling like something is stuck? It could be post-nasal drip.

happens when excess mucus collects in the back of your throat instead of being swallowed naturally. While mucus plays an important role in protecting your body, too much of it can become uncomfortable.

Common symptoms include:
• Mucus draining into the throat
• Frequent throat clearing
• Sore or irritated throat
• Raspy or gurgling voice
• Feeling of a lump in the throat

Causes can range from and to reflux or even dry indoor air. The good news? Treatment depends on the cause and may include hydration, nasal rinses, allergy management, or medical care.

If symptoms persist, an evaluation can help identify the cause and bring relief.
